“I’m so tired… I’ll just swish some mouthwash and skip brushing tonight.”

That’s kind of like spraying perfume without taking a shower — smells nicer, but the gunk is still there. 😏


Mouthwash can freshen your breath and rinse away a bit of food, but it can’t scrub off sticky plaque on your teeth and between them.


Plaque is the real troublemaker behind cavities and gum disease, and only brushing (plus floss) can properly remove it.


Best combo: brush twice a day, use floss, then add mouthwash as a bonus step — not a shortcut. 🪥
